One man was reportedly shot and killed by a member of the Jamaica Defence Force, on Law Street, in Downtown Kingston, on Monday afternoon.

Head of the Kingston Central Police, Superintendent Berrisford Williams, said the deceased has been identified, only as ‘TK’.

Superintendent Williams also noted, that the incident, which occurred some time around 5 pm, took place near a security checkpoint, in the area.

Investigations continue.
