A man was killed in a motor vehicle crash along the Hayes main road in Clarendon, last evening (December 1).

He has been identified as Neville Peart otherwise called “Manny”, a businessman of the community.

The police say details of the crash were not yet available, but that it took place at about 8:30pm.

Mr. Peart’s sister told Irie FM News that he was a good person.

Meantime, Councillor for the Hayes Division Scean Barnswell said Mr. Peart was an involved member of the community.

Since the start of the year some 432 people have been killed in crashes on the nation’s roads.
