The Opposition, People’s National Party is calling on Health and Wellness Minister, Dr Christopher Tufton to make more of an effort to know what is happening at health facilities across the country.

Opposition Spokesman on Health, Dr Morais Guy told IRIE FM news that the call stems from reports that some hospitals within the North East Regional Health Authority have run out of basic medical supplies.

The Opposition Spokesman said while it is important that Dr. Tufton trusts persons to effectively carry out their responsibilities, he must also take steps to verify, if the nation’s medical facilities are functioning at their best.
