The St. Ann based wealth advisor accused of withdrawing 143,000 u-s dollars from clients’ bank accounts has been remanded.

Khadene Thomas, an employee of the National Commercial Bank had her bail application hearing extended until February 2, when she appeared before the St. Ann parish court, today (January 20).

Thomas was arrested in relation to the missing funds last Friday.

She was charged for several fraud related offences, following a question-and-answer session, on Monday.

Defense lawyer Matthew Hyatt said the bail application was put off, because other complainants had not yet come forward.

Hyatt said Thomas maintains her innocence in the matter.
