Finance Minister Dr Nigel Clarke has said Jamaica must implement measures to ensure that it does not have to depend on overseas aid, when problems arise in the financial sector.

Dr Clarke had announced that local investigators have sought the assistance of the US based Federal Bureau of Investigations, (FBI), in the probe into the multi million dollar fraud, at Stocks and Securities Limited, (SSL)

Speaking at a press conference, Dr Clarke noted that the country’s financial sector, must also generate it’s own capacity.
