The legal team representing renowned Jamaican athlete Usain Bolt is expecting a response from Investment Company, Stocks and Securities Limited, SSL, on Friday.

Mr. Bolt’s attorneys had given SSL, 10 days to return some $US12 million taken from the athlete’s account.

Mr. Bolt is among several clients, including elderly persons who have been impacted by a major fraud at SSL.

In a letter dated, January 16, 2023, attorney at law Linton Gordon told SSL to return Mr Bolt’s money by today January 27, or face legal action.

Several agencies including the US based federal bureau of investigations, FBI, are probing the alleged fraud.
