One of Jamaica’s most wanted shot and killed in confrontation with lawmen

One of the country’s most wanted was shot and killed during a police/military operation in Clarendon today (February 8).

 

He is Nesta ‘Bigga Crime’ Morrison of Eleven Miles, Bull Bay, who was wanted for double murder, shooting and arson.

 

The intelligence led operation in Longville Park Clarendon was conducted by the Jamaica Defence Force and the Counter Terrorism and Organized Crime (C-TOC) branch.

 

The army tweeted that during the operation, ‘Bigga Crime’ engaged the members of the security forces in a gun battle, which ended in him being fatally shot.

 

It added that the security forces have been in hot pursuit of Morrison stating that efforts were ramped up since the launch of the joint anti-gang task force which saw the security forces closing in on his hideouts.

 

Meantime, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Fitz Bailey, said “Bigga Crime” reigned terror on residents in Eleven Miles, Bull Bay.
