England and Brentford striker Ivan Toney has admitted multiple charges of breaching fa gambling rules by betting on football and is expected to start a lengthy ban before the end of the English Premier League Season.

Toney last November was charged with 232 breaches of the gambling laws between 2017 and 2021, with the governing body adding a further 30 charges that took place between 2017 and 2019.

It’s understood the striker who is of Jamaican parentage and who reportedly rejected a reggae boyz call-up……pleaded guilty in response to many of the 262 charges but is contesting others, with an f.a disciplinary hearing understood to be imminent.

The 26-year-old this season has scored 14 goals in 22 games for Brentford and made his England national team debut in September of last year.
