Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett, says the turn around time on construction in the country, has limited the growth of Jamaica’s economy.

Speaking at the official opening, of the $1.3 billion Bengal Cove Villas development in Discovery Bay, St. Ann, Mr. Bartlett stressed that growth is time sensitive.

He said developers, must aim to be more efficient, in the completion of their building projects.

The tourism minister acknowledged, that the slow processing of building applications, contributes to the delay.
