The Trelawny police are probing the suspected drowning of a teen in Wakefield in the parish.

The deceased has been identified as 15-year-old Kevin trail, a student of Cedric Titus High school.

Reports are that about 3 PM on Thursday, Trail and two of his friends went swimming in a river. While swimming, he reportedly met with difficulties and drowned.

His body was retrieved from the river by residents and the fire brigade.
