Several security guards attached to Beryllium Limited withdrew their services this morning (April 12).

President of the Union of Clerical, Administrative And Supervisory Employees, Vincent Morrison told IRIE FM News that the strike comes after a meeting with Beryllium’s management about the terms of new employment, which did not go well.

The company reportedly wants the guards to waive their rights to several benefits.

Some of the guards have reportedly returned to work.
