New look Jamaica squad for Concacaf Under 20 women’s Championship

Jamaica’s  20  member  squad  for  the   Concacaf under 20 women’s  Championship  in the Dominican Republic  has  now  been  confirmed  by  the  Jamaica  Football  Federation (JFF).

The  squad  which  will  depart  the  island  on  Saturday  includes;  Janiel Mignot, Akelia Johnson, Destiny Powell, Davia Richards, Tiny Seaton,  Shaniel Buckley and  Natoya Atkinson .

It is  completed  by;   Andrene  Smith, Una moy Lue, Liha Williams, Avery Johnson, Taijah Fraser, Kaitlyn Ennis, Amelia Zanten, Liya Brooks. Maya Rag-hunan-danan, Anaiyah Robinson, Njeri  Butts, Njeri Lewis and Katie Oakley.

The young reggae girls are drawn in a competitive group A’  alongside  defending champions United States, Canada and Panama. 

They  will  open  their  campaign  at  the  tournament  next  Wednesday  against  Canada

The two finalists and the third-place  winner will qualify for next year’s FIFA under 20 Women’s World Cup.
