Rainy weekend in the forecast

by February 12th, 2016

The Met Office says, the increase in rainfall over northern parishes is due to a cold front across the island.

Senior forecaster at the met office, Lawrence Brown, says over the past week, Jamaica has experienced two different cold fronts, one to the east and the other west of Jamaica.

He points out that these frontal systems come with rainfall, which has resulted in the northern region being most affected.

The senior forecaster says rainfall is expected to continue until Sunday.
