Amidst reports of cyber attacks impacting local financial institutions, opposition spokesman on finance, Julian Robinson is urging persons who conduct business online to remain vigilant.

While noting that some of the affected institutions have sent notices to their customers, Mr Robinson urged citizens, to be alert in monitoring their accounts, for unauthorized transactions, and report same to the institutions.

He urged the government to intensify its public education campaign, to foster greater awareness of the necessary precautions involved in conducting online business transactions.
