The Ministry of Social Security says it is aware that some National Insurance Scheme Pensioners did not receive their pension arrears for April and May, on June 30.

It says the delay, which is due to a technical issue, has affected some pensioners’ benefits via direct deposits into their bank accounts.

The Ministry says it is working assiduously with its financial partners to have the issues resolved urgently, and effort is being made to have the payments delivered by tomorrow.
