The government’s decision to raise the ages of retirement for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) and the Auditor General (AG), was to fulfil a policy that was well debated and is in the interest of Jamaica.
Prime Minister Andrew Holness made this declaration in response to questions regarding why the Opposition was not consulted on the matter.
