The Health Ministry is reporting that a second person has died, as a result of complications associated with the H1N1 virus, commonly called swine flu.

The first recorded death was of Dr Suzanna Roye, on February 20.

Chief Medical Officer, Dr Winston De La Haye, says the second victim is a 49 year old woman from Spanish Town.

Dr De La Haye says, to date, the ministry has recorded ten confirmed cases of swine flu, to include the 2 deaths.
