The St Mary police have recaptured the man accused of killing two American missionaries last year.
25 year old Dwight Henry otherwise called ‘Dougie’ and ‘Chino’, of Wentworth District was held in Agaulta Vale in the parish last night.
He escaped from the Port Maria Hospital on January 4.
Reports are that about 10:00 p.m., members of the Area 2 Fugitive Apprehension Team and Area 2 Narcotics conducted a sting operation during which a motor vehicle that was travelling along the Agualta Vale main road was intercepted.
The vehicle was searched and the wanted man arrested.
Henry and his co accused 25-year-old Andre Thomas of Port Maria are charged with the murders of 48-year-old Randy Hentzel and 53-year-old Harold Nichols.
Henry and Thomas were scheduled to appear in court this month.
Police had reported that about 1:40 p.m on January 4, Henry was taken to hospital for medical assistance and escaped custody.
Police later set up a hotline and urged persons to share information in an attempt to recapture him
