A female shopkeeper was shot dead in Clarendon yesterday.

She is 55 year old Novelette Glashen, of Ballards Content, Four Paths Clarendon.

Reports from the Four Paths Police are that about 5:38 p.m., Glashen was standing at the front of her premises, when she was pounced upon by unknown assailant(s) who opened gunfire hitting her multiple times.

Glashen was transported to hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Investigations continue.
