Police say a dispute over an illegal gun was behind the shooting of three teenaged brothers in Rasta Corner Sandy Bay Clarendon Thursday morning.

Two of the brothers died.   Those killed are 19-year-old, Richard Blake, and his 16-year-old brother, Ricardo Blake who attended Spanish Town High School .

Their 13 year-old brother, who was shot and wounded in the leg was treated and released from hospital.

Head of the Area Three Police, Assistant Commissioner, Donovan Graham, says preliminary information is that three gunmen went to the house, in search of a family friend, with whom they had a conflict over the illegal gun.

When the gunmen did not find the family friend, they turned their weapons on the three brothers.
