The government is to review all the fines, on the books over the next few months.
The issue of the fines charged by the courts came up after reputed gang leader Tesha Miller was fined $100, after pleading guilty to making a false  declaration to immigration officials.
Miller was deported on April 4 from the Bahamas, after he was found to have entered that country illegally.
There have been criticisms about the small fine.
Justice Minister Delroy Chuck says all the fines will be adjusted.
