Over in St. Thomas, access to the Dalvey community via the main road, remain impossible after a utility pole fell across the roadway in the vicinity of the Cheswick crossing, last night (Apl 21).

Residents have been using the alternative route through Duckensfield to access their community.

The utility pole reportedly fell after the ground became saturated following heavy rains.

This has also resulted in the community being without electricity since yesterday.

Residents are appealing the Jamaica Public Service to restore the fallen pole and electricity as soon as possible.
