The Clarendon Municipal Corporation has activated its emergency operations centre in light of severe weather conditions affecting several communities in the parish.

Mayor of May Pen Winston Maragh says the emergency shelter in Denbigh has been opened to accommodate persons seeking shelter.

Mayor Maragh is urging persons who need assistance to call the operations centre at telephone number – 986 903.
