Judges will have to wait a while longer before there is any change to their remuneration.

Justice Minister, Delroy Chuck, says the government recognizes that judges are not being paid what they are worth, but the government is constrained by the IMF agreement.

Speaking during the Sectoral Debate in Parliament, Mr. Chuck says Cabinet has considered the recommendations in the report from the Independent Commission for the Judiciary.

Mr. Chuck says the Justice Ministry has been able to provide judges with other benefits, to include new vehicles.
