Chairman of the Board of Westwood High School, Keith Rowe, says a rebuilding committee will meet next week, to discuss the process of rebuilding the section of the institution which was razed by fire.

The main kitchen and canteen were destroyed on Tuesday night.

Mr. Rowe says the school has received offers from the Ministry of Education and the school’s alumni, to help them with the tasks ahead.

He says he is confident the school will rise from this devastating mishap.

Meanwhile, Mr. Rowe says arrangements have been made to facilitate students who are sitting the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) examinations, next week.

He says students doing cxc exams on Monday will return to school on Sunday.
