The Rising Pune Super Giants are the first team to cement a spot in the 2017 Indian Premier League final.

They achieved the feat after beating the Mumbai Indians by 20 runs in the first eliminator.

The super giants batting first made 162 for 4 thanks to Manoj Tiwary and Ajinka Rahane who both made half centuries.

Tiwary led the way with 58 from 48 balls while Rahane added 56 from 43 at the top of the order.

Mumbai in reply were restricted to 142 for 9 despite a knock of 52 from 40 balls by Parthiv Patel.
