A man who was driving a stolen motor car, died after the vehicle crashed into  a garbage truck along Spanish Town road  this morning.

The identity of the dead man has not yet been ascertained. While the driver of the garbage truck sustained a broken leg.

Head of the Police Traffic Department Senior Superintendent Calvin Allen says the accident occurred about 5:40 this morning.

The car, a Toyota Axio was last seen by its owner at about one a.m.

SSP  Allen says the Toyota Axio collided into the truck which was crossing the road. The truck overturned.

SSP Allen says this is not the first incident this year , that  a vehicle that was stolen crashed killing or injuring the occupants.
