The Queens Baton relay will arrive in Jamaica on July 5

The Queens Baton relay will arrive in Jamaica as late as July 5 despite an arrival date of May 28 in Trinidad and Tobago.

This was confirmed by Jamaica Olympic Association (JOA) President Mike Fennell who said an announcement on the Jamaica leg will be made official next week.

The Queen’s Baton relay delegation will make the twin Island Republic its first Caribbean stop and nineteenth out of 71 overall Commonwealth destinations on the way to Australia’s Gold Coast for the 2018 commonwealth games.

Set to arrive on Sunday, the baton relay will make its way through the capital city Port of Spain on Monday and through Tobago the day after that.
