An all-star clash in the women’s 200 metres will be the highlight of the IAAF Diamond League meeting in Eugene, Oregon on Saturday.
The Prefontaine Classic will be the third stop of the 2017 Diamond League series and will feature double Olympic gold medal winner Elaine Thompson and her main rival 2015 world champion Dafne Schippers of the Netherlands.
2012 Olympic 200m champion Allyson Felix , Shaune Miller of the Bahamas and Jenna Prandini of the USA are also in the field for the event which will be contested on Saturday afternoon.
The women’s 100 metres include two times Olympic 200 metres champion Veronica Campbell-Brown and Simone Facey.
Olympic champion Omar McLeod and Ronald Levy are listed for the 110 metre hurdles, while Janieve Russell will contest the Women’s 400 metre hurdles.
