Linval Dixon says Portmore United is ready for Arnett Gardens

Coach of Portmore United Linval Dixon says his side is ready for the big Red Stripe National Premier League football clash against Arnett Gardens on June 5.

Arnett Gardens in search of title number 5 booked their place in the grand finale with victory over humble lion, while Portmore United hunting a sixth Premier League crown qualified for the final yesterday with victory over UWI FC.

Trailing 2-1 from the first leg semi-final Portmore blanked UWI fc 2-nil in the second leg semi-final at the UWI bowl thanks to goals from Malique foster and Michael Binns.

Dixon says he fully understands the challenge that the jungulists well provide. Said Dixon ” Arnett Gardens is very good team, a team that you can’t take for granted, as they know how to win the big games, but our team will not be easing up, its full throttle in all departments, we respect them , but we have no fear”.

Portmore United will now face Arnett Gardens in the final on the 5th of June.
