Usain Bolt confirmed for Golden Spike in Ostrava

Triple world record holder Usain Bolt has been confirmed for the Golden Spike meeting in Ostrava on June 28.

This will see the Jamaican track and field superstar making one of the last 100m appearances in his career.

The IAAF World Challenge meeting in the Czech Republic will see Bolt competing there for the 9th time, with the 56th edition to mark his fifth 100m race in Ostrava.

He has also raced three times there in the 200m event and once over 300m – all undefeated

Bolt is the eighth 2016 Olympic champion confirmed for the event along with the likes of 5000 and 10,000m winner Mo Farah,  400m world record holder Wayde van Niekerk, triple jumper Christian Taylor and 800m world record holder David Rudisha.
