Cricket’s greatest wicket-taker, Muthiah Muralitharan has been inducted into the ICC’s Hall of Fame.
Muralitharan who is the first Sri Lankan recipient of the award and is the 83rd inductee.
The 45-year-old claimed 800 test wickets and 534 one-day international victims…… more than any other bowler in either format, in an international career that spanned 19 years.
He also holds the record of 67 five-wicket hauls and took 10 wickets in a match 22 times.
Also inducted in the hall of fame were Australians Arthur Morris and Karen Rolton and England’s George Lohmann.
