Vin Blaine to take up post in Grenada, resigns as director of football

Vin Blaine is heading off to the Eastern Caribbean where he will serve as technical director for Grenada’s national football programme.

This has led to him tendering his resignation as director of football at the Jamaica Football Federation.

Blaine was appointed by then JFF president Captain Horace Burrell when the position was first created in February 2014.

Blaine says he has always wanted another challenge and as a result has decided to take the opportunity.

Blaine as director of football was responsible for coordination of the JFF’s development programs, such as coaching education and grassroots football, plus ensure that systems are in place to establish a database of players.

His resignation takes effect on July 12.
