Uncapped Rishabh Pant and Kuldeep Yadav have been named in India’s squad for the upcoming limited-overs tour of West Indies, which comprises five ODIs and a T20 international soon after the Champions Trophy ends in England.

Pant, a 19 year old wicketkeeper-batsman, was ushered into India’s T20 squad in January after a successful Under 19 World Cup and Ranji Trophy season.

Yadav, a 22 year old left-arm spinner, is yet to play a One Day International but enjoyed a successful domestic season and proved an inspired pick for the deciding Test against Australia in Dharamsala in March

The two youngsters replace Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah who are presumably being rested for the short limited-overs trip.

The five match ODI series starts next Friday in Trinidad.
