Defending Champions JC drawn in Group A’ of 2017 Manning Cup

Defending champions Jamaica College have been drawn in group b’ of next season’s ISSA/Manning Cup High School Football competition.

The dark blues who beat Wolmers in last season’s final to capture their fourth straight title and 28th overall, will face Bridgeport, 1987 champions St Andrew Technical, along with Donald Quarrie, Mona High and Papine in the group.

Walker Cup champions Kingston College will play in group E’ alongside Ardenne, Spanish Town, greater Portmore, Excelsior and Norman Manley.

Last season’s beaten finalist Wolmer’s Boys will play in group A’ where they will face Tivoli high, Innswood, Haile Selassie, Pembroke Hall and Kingston High.

Former champions Charlie Smith has been drawn to compete in group G’, where they will go up against Calabar, Campion, Eltham, Johnathon Grant and new comers Cedar Grove.

Another former champion in St Georges College will feature in group D’, with Kingston Technical, Vauxhall, St Catherine , Tarrant and Denham Town, while group C’ is comprised of Camperdown, Hydel, Meadowbrook, Cumberland, Waterford and St Mary’s College.

Group F’ features Holy Trinity, Ascot, St Jago, Edith Dalton James, Clan Carthy and Jose Marti.
