The Indian cricket team has landed in Trinidad for the limited-overs series against the West Indies amid the off-field drama surrounding Anil Kumble’s resignation as head coach following a rift with Captain Virat Kohli.

India, will start favourites for the series which comprises five oone day International and a T/20 international.

Kumble has given his side of the story, but Kohli is yet to speak about the differences with the former coach who stepped down on Tuesday.

Batting coach Sanjay Bangar and fielding coach r. Sridhar have travelled with the team to the West Indies.

India had toured the west indies last year for a four- match test series which the visitors won 2-nil.
