Chris Gayle back in West Indies fold

T/20 superstar  Chris  Gayle  as  reported  earlier  by  Irie  Fm  sports  is   back  in the  West  Indies line-up  for  the  lone  T/20  international  between  the  West  Indies  and  India  on  Sunday  at  Sabina  Park.

The  2016  west  indies  T20  cricketer  of  the  year   last played  for  the  West  Indies  in the  shortest  format  of  the  game   back  in  April   2016   when the  West  Indies  lifted  the  ICC T20  World  Cup  in India.

the  most  prolific  t20  batsman  is  one  of  five  Jamaicans  in the  squad named  a  short  while  ago  by  Cricket  West  Indies.

Gayle came in at the expense of Lendl Simmons, who scored 6, 17* and 15 in the series against Afghanistan, Jason holder, the test and ODI captain, who did not feature in that series, has been rested again.

Marlon  Samuels, Jerome Taylor, Chadwick  Walton  and  Rovman  Powell  are  the  other  Jamaicans  in  the  squad  which  is  completed  by  captain  Carlos  Braithwaite.

The rest of the 13 man squad includes Samuel Badree, Ronsford Beaton,  Evin Lewis, Jason Mohammed, Sunil Narine, Kieron Pollard and Kesrick Williams.
