by July 6th, 2017

Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz have broken their recent downward slide on the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Rankings.

Having dropped to 74th in May and 79th in June, the dethroned CFU champions are now up 3 spots to 76 on the July release of the monthly rankings.

A move that sees them as the number 3 team in the Caribbean and 7th in CONCACAF overall, heading into the CONCACAF Gold Cup which gets underway this weekend.

CONCACAF, meanwhile, continues to be led by Mexico (16th, up 1) followed by Costa Rica (26th, up 7), the United States (35th, down 12) and Haiti who jumped 15 places to 49.

Next are Panama (52nd, up 7), newly crowned CFU king-pins Curacao (68th, up 2) and Honduras who occupy the number 72 spot after falling 3 places.

Other CONCACAF teams inside the top 100 are Trinidad and Tobago 78 and Canada at 100.

Top spot on the rankings is now held by world cup and newly crowned confederations cup winners Germany

Five time world champions Brazil are down a spot to second with Argentina also down a place to 3rd.

The top 5 is completed by European champions Portugal and Switzerland with Poland, Chile, Colombia, France and Belgium rounding out the top 10.

Egypt is the highest placed African team at 24.
