by August 24th, 2017

All-rounder Chris Woakes has replaced Toby Roland -Jones in the English squad for the second test against the West Indies in Headingly tomorrow.

Woakes who is set to make his test comeback reflects the only change to the England side who hammered the Caribbean side by an innings and 209 runs in the first test at Edgebaston last weekend.

Woakes missed the series victory over South Africa after suffering a side strain during the ICC Champions Trophy opener against Bangladesh at the start of June.

The all-rounder was recalled to the squad for the first test against the windies at Edgebaston, but did not feature on his home ground.

Woakes scored a half-century and took five wickets for Warwickshire in his county championship return against champions Middlesex and is set to slot in at number nine in the order.
