Dancehall entertainer Konshens has expressed disappointment in the handling of an event, after one of his shows in Toronto slated for this Saturday was cancelled.

A disgruntled Konshens took to his Instagram page, to apologize to fans and encourage them to get their refunds.

In the Instagram post under a flyer branded Cancelled, Konshens shared that according to the promoters, the event permit was revoked by the police, with alleged reasons relating to the kind of crowd the event would attract, and a tip off that there could be possible shooting activity.

Earlier this week dancehall deejays Alkaline, and Elephant Man, apologized to fans on social media for their unavoidable absence from a show, after a promoter in New York failed to uphold their end of a contract.

Meanwhile female singjay Queen Ifrica broke her silence on Thursday night about the same event in New York. Ifrica admitted she decided to work because of the fans, despite not getting all of her performance fee. However, Queen Ifrica has called on the promoter to apologize to the industry and fans for the mishandling of the event.
