Three Jamaicans including world rated all-rounder Stafanie Taylor are included in an eighteen member West Indies women’s squad for a training camp to be staged from September 25 to October 4 in Trinidad.
This in preparation for the home series against Sri Lanka starting October 5.
Shanel Daley and Chadean Nation are the other Jamaicans named in the squad.
The remaning squad members include Merissa Aguilleira, Reniece Boyce, Shamilia Connell, Britney Cooper, Deandra Dottin, Afy Fletcher, Qiana Joseph, Kycia Knight, Kyshona Knight, Hayley Matthews, Anisa Mohammed, Subrina Munroe, Akeira Peters, Shakera Selman, and Felicia Walters.
The training camp will be conducted under the direction of interim head coach Henderson Springer and interim assistant coach Gus Logie.
The series against Sri Lanka includes three ODI and three T20 matches scheduled for Trinidad and Tobago and Antigua.
