The individual who will complete the tenure of the late captain Horace Burrell as president of the Jamaica Football Federation will be known this afternoon following the special general meeting which will start at 1 o’ clock.
This will follow the annual general meeting of the federation which gets underway at 11 am.
Ambassador Stewart Stephenson and south-central Confed chairman Michael Rickets will face off in this battle in which the 13 parish presidents will cast their vote.
The winner is slated to speak at 2 pm.
Meanwhile the agenda for the voting congress will see the interim JFF president addressing the meeting which will be followed by the election of the president to complete the 2015 to 2019 term.
In the meantime the AGM will open with interim president Bruce Gaynor’s address, followed by General Secretary Raymond Grant with the activity report of the Federation.
The finance report from the vice-president in charge of finance Garfield Sinclair will be next.
The final item on the agenda at the AGM is the presentation of the audited financials for 2014, 2015 and 2016.
