A contingent of the Jamaica Defence Force Coast Guard aboard the HMJS Middlesex ship has arrived in hurricane ravaged Dominica with some much needed relief supplies.
JDF Media Affairs Officer Major Basil Jarrett says the coast guard crew will bolster the efforts of the Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART), which was already in the island.
Major Jarrett says the Dominican people have welcomed the assistance from the JDF soldiers.
