Jamaican boxer Nicholas ‘the axeman’ Walters will have a warm up fight in December as he prepares for some expected major fights in 2018.

Walters only chance at getting a fight this year was dashed in august, when he reported sick days before his schedule clash with Mexican Aturio Reyes in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Walters has not fought since his loss to Vasyl Lomachenko last November when he Retired in round seven.

While the opponent for  the December bout has not be finalized Walters the former World Boxing Association (WBA) Super Champion in the Featherweight Division told Irie Fm sports that the fight at the end of the year is a crucial warm up to ensure that he is not ring rusty for 2018.
