Raymond Grant elected Portland FA president

Former JFF General Secretary Raymond Grant has been elected president of the Portland Football Association at the extraordinary general meeting of the association.

Grant returns to the helm of the association five years after stepping down to take up the position of JFF general secretary.

Garfield Fuller, who served as president for the last five years was elected 1st deputy president.

Both Grant and Fuller were elected unopposed after nomination which was opened on September 28 saw no challenger for both positions.

The former chairman of the Eastern Confederation and member of the CFU Finance Committee will now return to the JFF Board as a director.

Grant, who has been serving on the JFF Board for 18 consecutive years in three different capacities, starts his second stint as Portland FA president having been first elected in 2007.

He announced his resignation from the post with the national governing body during his presentation of the general secretary’s activity report at the recent JFF annual general meeting.
