The West Indies women will seek to close out the third and deciding game against Sri-lanka with victory, when both teams face off tomorrow in the  ICC Women’s Championship- 2021 world cup  qualification contest.

The game is set to played at the Brian Lara academy starting at 8:30 am Jamaica time.

The Caribbean women leads the three match series 2-nil, after captain Stafanie Taylor produced an award-winning performance with bat and ball yesterday to lead the windies to a 7 wicket win yesterday …….the second successive victory.

Asked to bat first in a rain-reduced 47 overs per side match, Sri Lanka posted 162 all out in 46.3 overs. Yosada Mendis 34 and Chamari Athapaththu 31 were the main run-scorers .

Afy fletcher led the windies wicket-takers with 3 for 24 from her 10 overs, while Anisa Mohammed bagged 2 for 16 and Stafanie Taylor 2 for 31.

Chasing 163 to win Taylor scored an unbeaten 60 and shared in a  match-winning 77-run partnership with Deandra Dottin who chipped in with 37 , as the regional ladies scored 163 for 39 in 39 overs and four balls.
