New FLA board mandated to rid agency of corruption

National Security Minister Robert Montague says the new board at the Firearm Licensing Authority (FLA) has been mandated to clean out corruption at the agency.

The five member board was named by Mr. Montague this morning (Oct 20).

Speaking at the press conference, Mr. Montague says the new FLA board should strive to build on the gains made by the previous board.

Mr. Montague says he has full confidence in the new board to carry out its duties in a transparent and efficient manner.

He is calling on all Jamaicans to lend their support to the new board.
