The joint command of the Zone of Special Operations is advising that no party events will be allowed in zone areas, and the streets must be cleared by 7:00 p.m.

According to Head of the Corporate Communications Unit at the Jamaica Constabulary Force Superintendent Stephanie Lindsay, security personnel will use discretion to allow persons to enter and leave the communities.

Superintendent Lindsay says there will be no gathering or parties, during the curfew.

She says the security forces want to create and sustain a peaceful atmosphere.

Meanwhile, Civil Military Cooperation and Media Affairs Officer at the Jamaica Defence Force Major Basil Jarret, says the operation is going well and efforts to gather intelligence have intensified.

Major Jarret and Superintendent Lindsay were speaking at a press briefing yesterday (Oct 19), in Denham Town, to provide an update on the second ZOSO, which was declared in the community.
