by October 26th, 2017

The Jamaica Association of Public Health Inspectors is reporting a reduction in the number inspectors who migrate in search of better employment opportunities.

President of the association Rowan Stephens says over the last year, the rate at which trained graduates migrate has slowed down.

Mr. Stephens is urging the government to offer better wage and fringe benefits to public health inspectors, to prevent workers from leaving the local health sector.
