Ninja Man rushed to hospital; trial continues…

Veteran dancehall deejay Ninja Man was rushed from court to the hospital this morning after he complained of having chest pains.

Music News understands that Ninja Man had turned up for his trial in the Home Circuit Court when he became ill. However, the trial continued as his lawyer Valerie Neita Robertson said that the dancehall deejay had given his consent for the trial to continue in his absence.


The trial is being held in camera and evidence have been led by the prosecution implicating Ninja Man in the murder.


The dancehall deejay and his son Jamiel along with Dennis Clayton are on trial for the murder of Ricardo Johnson also called Trooper. He was fatally shot eight years ago on Marl Road, Kingston 11.


The men were on bail but Justice Martin Gayle remanded them in custody when the trial started. 
They will remain in custody until the trial is completed.
